Model Railroad
The ORTC Model Railroad Club (ORTCMRC) was founded in 2011 to promote the hobby of model railroading and to preserve the history of southwestern Pennsylvania railroads and steel industry. The club was formed to work in conjunction with the development of the Ohio River Trail Museums.
The museum project strives to preserve equipment and artifacts from railroads and steel mills that operated along the Ohio River and its tributaries. The ORTC is committed to saving and exhibiting collections of historical significance of this region. This preservation provides an enduring record of the past, celebrating our heritage and providing an experience to discover our history with the establishment of the Ohio River Trail Museum.
