The Roles and responsibilities of the ORTC Board of Directors
- To carry out a variety of governance functions which are needed to successfully operate a not-for-profit.
- To provide leadership within the community on behalf of the organization and its programs
- To define, protect, and advance the mission of the ORTC.
- To safeguard the assets of the ORTC.
- To be ambassadors to the community on behalf of the ORTC.
- To ensure adequate resources to carry out the mission of the ORTC.
- To attend meetings.
- To serve or chair one standing committee.
- To assist with fundraising.
- To support council events.
- To identify potential new and qualified board members.
